For a long time, customers to our beautiful chocolate shop have been asking:

"What's it like to work with chocolate all day?" and "Can you teach me?"

.... and now we can!

At Emily’s, located above The Chocolate Kitchen in Churchgate house, we have created a space perfect for learning all about food in a fun, friendly, relaxed atmosphere with no previous experience required.

Making Chocolate at Emily's

The Chocolate Kitchen team will be teaching courses suitable for children and adults and all will involve getting just a little messy to make your very own chocolate creation to take home. You can book yourself onto one of our classes scheduled throughout the year in making truffles, chocolate cake decorations, cake pops, chocolate shoes, chocolate lollipops and flavoured bars. Alternatively, if you have a group of friends who would like to attend together we can organise a date just for you!

Emily’s can also be booked for Chocolate Birthday Parties: Host your own party at Emily’s where you and your friends will have a ball trying chocolate and making your own chocolate goodie bags to take home. Parties can be tailored for children or adults. Included in the price are a Chocolate Kitchen signature chocolate birthday cake to share and hot chocolate or chocolate milkshakes. Further refreshments can be arranged too. Perhaps the best party you will ever have!

And that’s not all… as well as all our chocolatey courses, other local food producers and talented people will be coming in to run classes and demonstrations in all sorts of skills including pasta making, sugar craft, making your own butter, artisan bread making and lots more to come. More details to follow in the near future!
